The Obsession Is Real

FreshDirect pioneered online grocery shopping in 2002 for hungry New Yorkers. Filling mailboxes up with flyers and promo codes and filling fridges up with sustainably fresh groceries.

But as the streets fill up with wannabe online supermarket competitors, we wanted to show why FreshDirect is at the top of the food chain: Their ridiculously crazy-in-love obsession with real food and real food only. An obsession their foodie fanbase can relate to—sometimes to the detriment of other important things in life.

Then we got people craving food in the grossest place. Ew.
